Parent, guardian, and family engagement is important in supporting the success of Northridge Elementary students. Accordingly, there are many ways for our families to get involved with Northridge Elementary.

Parent Leadership Committee (PLC)
All of our parents belong to Northridge Parent Leadership Committee. We have several parent leaders who coordinate academic, social, and fundraising activities while serving as a link between parents and staff. Additionally, our NREL Parent Leadership Committee assists with coordination of parent volunteers; attends planning and PLC meetings. NPLC board meets monthly except August and May.
The District has several committees that were formulated to provide valuable assistance and guidance to the Board of Education, the Superintendent, and District departments. These committees offer District residents a hands on opportunity to become directly involved in the decision making process that helps to determine how the District operates and the direction it is headed.
